Designing a communication strategy : the 4-P workshop

This publication is the first in the series Lessons from the Field: Conservation Awareness that was designed to address the challenges of communication and education as conservation tools. This introductory volume focuses specifically on strategic planning—the first and perhaps most critical component to establishing successful conservation awareness initiatives. The emphasis is on a creative and participatory process that can be used to design conservation education and communications plans: the 4-P Workshop (Problems, Publics, Products, Plan).
